Today we received an email from Petco about a new $15 reward promo, both in-store and online.

Here’s the fine print:

Get $15 in Pals Rewards with the purchase of two large bags of dog or cat food

  • The promotion ends Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:59pm PDT.
  • In order to qualify, purchase must be between Sunday, September 16, 2018 to Saturday, September 29, 2018.
  • Valid only on the purchase of any two 18lb. or larger bags of dry dog food or 8lb. or larger bags of dry cat food.
  • No promotion code is necessary. The $15 Pals Rewards will be available in your account within 14 business days of the qualifying purchase.
  • Limit one per customer for the duration of the promotion.
  • Promotion Exclusions: Repeat Delivery orders; PetcoOne and WholeHearted Memberships; Out-of-stock items, Donations, the purchase of Petco Gift Cards and eGift Cards; and applicable taxes. Additional exclusions may apply and will be noted on the Product Detail page and/or Shopping Cart.
  • Petco.com charges applicable tax on all orders shipped to states in which Petco has a physical location.
  • Promotion cannot be redistributed or used in combination with any other offer.
  • Petco.com in its sole discretion may refuse to redeem any Promotion that it believes in good faith to be fraudulently or improperly obtained.
  • Offer valid only at Petco and PetCoach stores and petco.com.

 

If you are planning on doing this deal, we strongly recommend you check your rewards balance on a regular basis.

You won’t need any code or coupon to receive the rewards, but our experience with these promos has been hit or miss.

Luckily Petco has a chat function on their website, where you can chat with customer service and request a credit, in case it won’t post automatically, which it really should, but…..not always does for meowning out loud!

Anyways, there are some cheaper brand pet food, with large bags around 12ish dollars. If you snag two of those and get back $15 in rewards, that will make for a great donation to a pet shelter.

Unfortunately ours is linked personally to our account, so we cannot share the link here, but if you are a subscriber chances are pretty high that you have received it as well.

That’s like 25-30% off at Petsmart, furriends! Good deal!

We are currently camped out at Lake Mead NRA and this guy shows up soon after we got settled. Needless to say, the humans decided to leave our outdoor cat habitat unpacked this time.

We’d love to go outside, but the humans don’t want us to become his lunch, plus it has been really windy. He has been snooping around camp a couple more times since we arrived. Seems to be limping, poor guy.

Speaking of interesting neighbors, funny enough, a couple of days after we arrived, some humans set up camp a little further down the road. Female human saw a dog walk one of those humans and thought she had met this particular human before.  She went over to chat with them to confirm and it turns out that it was Lorne and Susan, who blog at A Place Called Away. The human had met them at Bloggerfest 2017. Female human has a good memory of faces, but she has a hard time remembering names.

The nomad world sure can be small at times.

By the way, if you haven’t signed up for the Petsmart Email coupon we mentioned a little while ago yet, we strongly encourage you to do so. Now that we are near a bigger city, the human has signed up and received one with an expiration date of 3/29. So this still seems to be working.

We are planning to send her to a Petsmart in Henderson, NV tomorrow and if we are lucky, she’ll be able to use it at Petco as well.

Nom, nom, we expect to see some goodies tomorrow!
