Petco has started their Cyber Monday deals early: Cyber Week – Up to 70% off Crates & Crate Accessories!

We were in the market for a small pet crate and the human managed to purchase this small crate for only $16.19.

We also had earned a $5 PalsReward for our Black Friday shopping, which brought it down to $11.19. Free Shipping to boot!

The X-S version of it is even cheaper, only $12.59, but that would not have worked for us.

These crates are normally 79.99 and 59.99 respectively, so we feel we got a great deal.

Some of those smaller scratching posts are only $8 (normally 19.99) and the big cat trees, like this one,  are only $20 (normally 49.99).

We usually prefer to send the human to the store, but we hardly have any coupons for these things, so it makes sense to order these online.

Especially, if you’d like to order a few of these deals and have them sent directly to a shelter!!

It looks like those prices may be valid through 12/1, however free shipping NO MINIMUM is only available though 11/26, after that it will go back to orders over $49 only.

Whew, we hope you all head a wonderful Thanksgiving!
As much as our human despises Black Friday and all it stands for, there’s no way around sending her to the pet stores to shop for our buddies at Meowness.

The deals where not really great this year, as we mentioned in our preview post, but we had a few coupons and discounts that helped us mitigate cost a little bit.

The items pictured above retail at a ridiculous $575 incl. tax and we paid about $189 out of pocket.

Yeah, we know, compared to previous years, that’s kinda meh!

We don’t know for sure, but we think male human may have jinxed it. We overheard him bragging to a friend about our deal sniffing capabilities a few days before Black Friday. So maybe that was the reason for the lack of great deals? At least we still managed to get a good amount of litter for Meowness, which is what they are always short of.

We had the humans head to Meowness right away, after female human was done shopping to drop it all off!

We hope there’ll be a few more holiday deals popping up in the coming weeks, so hopefully we can get together another donation before we leave town again.

Not pictured is a cat carrier that our friends Mojo and Lola donated, which we picked up on the way to Meowness.

The human will probably not be up to setting foot in any other stores, anytime soon. But as soon as we see pet deals,

We normally write about the pet store Black Friday Deals much earlier in the month of November,

but since receiving the ads a couple of weeks back, we have been completely underwhelmed with the “deals” this year.

We had the human go through her coupon stash and sort through the expired coupons and realized, we hardly have any good coupons this year either.

So it’s a bit meh to be honest.

 

Petsmart has the Tidy Cats for $9.99 on BF, which is higher than in previous years, plus we don’t have any good coupons currently. Human has a couple of $1 and 1.50 peelies. So, compared to the current 13.99, we guess that’s a bit of an improvement but not a knock your socks off kind of deal.

There a few Buy one get one 50% off deals in both stores, but no coupons out for most of these items. Maybe a few treats for the BOGO deals.

If you are in the market for a pet bed, cat tree or crate, you may be able to score one for 50% off at Petco.

Petco also has some pet food brands 50% off, for which we have coupons in the Petco calendar, so it’s worth checking them out.

Petsmart advertises free Pro Plan wet food wyb select dry cat food, but the ad does not mention, which items qualify.

Our guess is, that it’s probably ProPlan dry cat food, in which case we’ll have $5/1 insert coupons  ($5.00/1 Purina Pro Plan Dry Cat Food, Any (Limit of 4 Like Coupons Per Household Per Day; No Cash Back) – SS 09-09-18, exp. 12/09/18) and may be able to score a deal.

 

We are a bit dissapointed by the lack of deals and coupons this year, so when we received a $15/60 Petsmart store coupon by email yesterday, that expires today, we sent the human shopping today already, as that coupon made the litter prices comparable to the Black Friday ad pricing already.

We’ll still send the human and her skinny coupon bag shopping this Friday, hoping to do a donation drop off right away. But it will be by no means as glorious as in past years, MEOW!!!

We recently received an email from Petco, that they won’t carry Muse cat food any longer. They human had picked up a few deals on Muse a few months ago for our donations, which is probably why they had our email address linked to the product.

When we sent the human shopping for our food a couple of days ago, she saw tons of markdowns at Petco, especially Muse, both dry and wet food. With some varieties of wet food starting at 30 cents, the wet food variety packs for $ 3.48 and the smaller bags of Muse starting $3.48 (prices and offers may differ at your stores) it’s certainly worth checking the markdown section.

We still have some coupons in our stash from previous Muse purchases (if you ever bought the small trial bags, they had coupons inside and some of the cans had BOGO peelies on them).

You may also have printed some from coupons.com or directly from Muse.

Some of those prints are $3 or $5 off dry food and $2 off 6 wet food cans or tubs.

Using these coupons, we can score some of these markdowns for very cheap or even free.

So if Muse is your brand or choice, we strongly recommend checking out your Petco rather sooner than later!
