Here are a few scenarios to consider for Petco for this COMING WEEKEND!
Buy 2 Science Diet dog treat 7.99 (register will take off 20%) = 7.99*2 -20% = 12.78
Buy 8 Beneful chopped Bends 1.80 each (MUST buy more than 5 to get to this price) = 14.4
Total 27.18 + tax
use 5/25 Petco SQ (hand over FIRST)
use 2x 5/1 Science Diet treat MQ
use 1x 2/1 SD Petco Store Qs (Petco will most likely only let you use one per transaction)
Use 4 BOGO Beneful chopped blends coupons (7/28 SS)
= takes of 24.2 in coupons
so you pay 2.98 OOP plus tax
Buy 2 Science Diet dog treat 7.99 (register will take off 20%) = 7.99*2 -20% = 12.78
Buy 1 Science diet dry dog food 10.79
Buy 2 Cesar trays 0.92 = 1.84 (not a stellar deal, but a cheap filler if you have none of the calendar freebies)
Total 25.41 + tax
use 5/25 Petco SQ (hand over FIRST)
use 2x 5/1 Science Diet treat MQ
use 1x 2/ SD treat Petco Store Q (Petco will most likely only let you use one per transaction)
use 1x 4/1 Science Diet dry dog food MQ and 1x 3/1 SD printable dry dog food Store Q
use BOGO Cesar tray 7/14 RP
coupons will take off $24.92
so you pay 49 cents OOP plus tax
PLEASE please please, throw in the free can of Friskies or Fancy Feast for us (yes, we know it’s CAT FOOD, and this is a DOG scenario!!),
most stores have a donation drop bin right at the exit of the store!! Just drop that can of Friskies/FF in there! Every little bit helps!!
Be warned! Petco registers are a PITA and the cashier will need to scan every item again after they scan the coupon. This is their process
so don’t get discouraged and don’t go when you are in a hurry 😉
Just follow these steps:
-Select your items
-Proceed to register
-Have Cashier ring up everything
-Make sure you are over 25$
-Hand over 5 off 25
-Hand over MQ first, cashier scans MQ and THEN scans matching item
-Hand over Store Q, cashier scans SQ and THEN scans matching item
-Bag matching item

The science diet Petco treat coupons are actually for ideal balance but do scan for science diet, so that part is YMMV. Also, the dog food price in my stores is 11.99. Either way a great deal since I paid 99 cents in the end including tax. Didn’t need any fillers either. Just 1 dog food and 2 treats.

We have BOTH, a 2/1 store Q for Science Diet Treats AND a 2/1 store Q for Ideal Balance Treats, the SD Qs should not be used on Ideal Balance, unless the Q wording allows it!
