Safeway, today 3/17 only: great deal on Arm & Hammer cat litter!

Today is $5 day at Safeway and Arm & Hammer cat litter is one of the $5 deals again. It has been a while since we had
an advertised $5 litter deal.
In the past they also included the clump and seal, for which we have higher value coupons out there.
Safeway also has a $5 of 50 coupon you can download in your J4U app, for additional savings.
PLUS they are currently running the Love your pet promotion, which we mentioned recently. So you’ll get $3 of $5 off your next pet food purchase if you spend more than $15 or $25 on pet supplies respectively.
You can find 1/1 and 2/1 coupons in the 03/05/17 SS and we also have printables on the Clump & Seal website.
There is a new variety of A&H litter out right now and many of us have 2/1 and 3/1 coupons for that.
We hope we can confirm in the course of the day if that particular variety is part of the sale.

Safeway: Love your pet promotion: Save up to $5!

We have written about this promotion at Safeway in the past and it looks like it’s still going, at least until 3.28.
The human bought some pet supplies at Safeway this week and we still did receive this catalina.
The March booklet also has the ad and the fine print reads as follows:
LOVE YOUR PET
LOVE YOUR PET SAVE $5 off your next pet product purchase when you spend $25 on pet products OR SAVE $3 off your next pet product purchase when you spend between $15 and $24.99 on pet products.
These catalinas roll, so you’ll still earn one in a transaction in which you use one, which can really be useful, if we get a deal on cat litter or other pet supplies at Safeway this month.

March 2017 Donation to Meowness!

Whilst in town for an unplanned visit, we figured, we might as well send the human shopping while we are here.
We only had a couple of days so we were limited to what was on sale this week, which was NOT MUCH. It seems we just had missed a killer deal at Target, but we tried to make the best of what deals we could find during the short time in town.
Luckily we received a few coupons from some of our furriends on very short notice (thank you!!) and thus could send the human to the stores to snag a few things.
Considering that deals were not as good as we’d usually like and the limited time did not allow for a whole lot of shopping, we still did ok. The items pictured retail at $405 and we spent $88 roughly. Safeway had litter on the $5 Friday deal unadvertised but thank cat the human checked the store and saw it. Safeway also still have their “spend $25 or more on pet supplies receive a $5 catalina off your next order” promotion going. So we lucked out to receive and roll a couple of those $5 catalinas.
Not pictured are quite a few items that Cali and Ludwig’s Human, Conny, purchased, which we picked up on our way to Meowness. Cali and Ludwig have gotten real good at deal hunting and keep sending their human shopping. Thank you for your continuous support to Meowness guys and for keeping Conny busy!!
As always Meowness is bursting at the seams with adorable adoptable cats and kitten season has not even started yet!!
The human got to meet a few of the cuties looking for new homes during her visit.
Grace and Faith pictured belwo are a bonded pair of beautiful Maine Coon kitties. They would love to find a furever home together.

Frys: Through 3/11 get $5 off Petco giftcards and 4x Fuel Points!

Frys currently has a deal on Petco gift cards for $5 off wyb TWO $25 cards through 3/11. That in itself is a soso deal, as we have had up to $10 off a $50 card in the past, HOWEVER, currently Frys also has a 4x fuel points promo on gift card purchases.
4x fuel points for a $50 worth of cards translates into 200 points, which means 20 cents off at the pump for up to 35 gallons. If you can use up the 35 gallons, that’s a $7 value right there.
So all in all your $50 in gift cards only cost you $38 if you can use those fuel points.
Certainly a deal we’ll consider, as we are planning on doing a Petco store run this week.

Safeway: 8x fuel points for a $75 Petsmart gift card through 2/7

Safeway currently has a coupon in their just4u app for 8x Gas Reward Points when you buy $75 or more in PetSmart Gift Cards.
That’s 600 fuel points for a $75 card or $15 off at the pump if you max out the 25 gallons, up to which the fuel rewards are valid, which translates to 20% off.
For us that’s usually a good deal, because we now live in a gas guzzling house.
If you were planning a purchase at Petsmart anyways, this may be a good way to save a little extra.
Combined with the $10 off 30 Petsmart coupon we posted earlier today, you potentially could save a few $$$ on something you may need anyways.
We also use an American Express credit card at the grocery store, that gives us 6% cash back on groceries. So if we buy that gift card at Safeway or Albertsons, which now also has the just4u app, we are saving an additional $4.50.
It all adds up.
