some abbreviations to help you better understand what we are talking about:
Q = Coupon
MQ = Manufacturer Coupon
TQ = Target Coupon
EQ = Electronic Coupon
IP oder IPQ = Internet printable Coupon
TP oder TPQ = Tearpad Coupon
IAC = In ad coupon (mainly at Safeway, Albertsons, Bashas or Walgreens)
IVC = Instant value coupon (Walgreens)
Cat = Catalina (coupons from the printer at the register), or one of us meow, but then that’s not an abbreviation
SQ = Store Q
OYNO = On your next order (a special form of catalina coupon)
RR = Register Reward (loyalty coupon from Walgreens)
ECB = Extra Care Buck or EB = Extra Buck (loyalty coupon from CVS)
Albies = Albertsons
SW = Safeway
Wally = Walmart (the human also refers to this store as hellmart)
Wags = Walgreens
MIR = Mail in Rebate
OOP = out of pocket
BOGO or B1G1 = buy one get one free also in other variations like B2G1 = buy 2 get 1 free etc.
BOGO50 = buy one get one 50% off
DND = do not double, found on Qs where the manufacturer does not allow the store to double
YMMV = Your mileage may vary – deal depends on cashier/circumstances/manager on duty/time of day/weather….
Shelf price: price of product when it’s not on sale
UFT = up for trade ISO= in search of (On trading sites)
5/25 or 10/40 or $/$$ usually refers to a store Q for a certain amount off when a certain threshold is met (for example $5 off $25 in purchases)
P&G = Procter and Gamble
SS = Smart Source
RP = Red Plum
SS = Smart Source insert
GM = General Mills insert
