The preview does not show a single pet coupon, how lame!!!
But the 4/6 Red Plum Preview shows this:

Petco Adoption weekend 4/5-6!

Petco has another adoption event coming up this weekend Saturday April 5 and Sunday April 6.
Several of you have asked us why we have not posted a 5/25 coupon yet, that is usually published for those kinds of weekends.
They are out there, the human has seen them and we are aware they exist for April, but we do NOT have a link that is hosted by Petco itself.
Apparantly Petco has changed the policy on these for the time being and has taken them down from the link where they used to be.
That page now says
Adopt a dog or cat April 5th or 6th and receive special offers from Petco*. Plus, pet parents who adopt enjoy additional savings from Petco’s Think Adoption First® Care and Savings program.
*While supplies last. Offers expire 4/6/14. Check with your local store for exact times, details and offers.
So you may receive one, when you adopt a pet in store, or you can ask your store manager if they’ll give you one, but currently we have no link available that are hosted on the Petco site, so we prefer not to post or link to any other sites.
The same is true for the freebies we used to have. So right now it does not make much sense for us to post Petco Scenarios.
We believe the overuse of the Free Pro Plan coupon may have caused this, but of course we cannot be sure.
We certainly hope, that this will be temporarily and Petco will put out coupons for all of us to use again soon.
We will certainly keep you posted 😉

Petsmart: today through April 6th: Save up to $20!

We received an email from Petsmart this morning, they are doing anonther one of those weekend promotions, where you get a register tape coupon
when you spent a certain amount of money in store.
Spend $50 get $5
Spend $100 get $15
Spend $150 get $20
In case you are planning a bigger purchase it may be worth it looking into this. Also, if you were one of the lucky ones, who received the Petsmart 5/25 coupon a little while ago don’t forget to use your 5/25 that is good through 4/13!
From past experience we can attest, that the Petsmart store coupons will count against the spent threshold, so you need to spend at least $5 above the mentioned spend threshold to receive the reward.
Manufacturer coupons should not count against you, as they are a form of payment and they have not had an impact on the rewards in the past. That said Petsmart registers are iffy, so we cannot guarantee that will work. Please do report back, in case you are attempting these deals!
