Castor & Pollux just released some new printable coupons on Facebook for their Organix brand.

This is a great brand and we rarely ever get coupons for it other than when you luck out and run into the rep at Petsmart.

Head over here to print yours:

3/1 any 4lb or larger bag of Organix dry cat food any formula

BOGO any 3-5.5 oz of Organix wet cat food 

Make sure you grab the US coupons, because there’s also Canadian ones and those won’t scan here in the US!

Unfortunately no prints for the treats. The Organix treats are one of the few brands Emily actually likes, whereas Linus eats any treat, including dog treats if he can get his paws on them, no matter which brand 😉

Organix wet cat food ranges from 0.87-1.67 at Petsmart, so only 44 cents a can after coupon

Organix dry cat food ranges from 14.99-19.99, so starting at 11.99 after coupon

Unfortunately we don’t have a $ off coupon at Petsmart right now to sweeten the deal, but if this is your brand of choice, you are at least getting a nice discount!

Don’t forget to check the markdown section, last time the human was at Petsmart, she did see both Castor and Pollux as well as Blue Buffalo food marked down at 7.77!

If you can find a marked down bag like that, this printable coupon will make it a killer deal!

If there is any pet coupon left on coupons.com that you have not printed, but think you might be able to use, go ahead and print NOW!

As in RIGHT MEOW!!!

Coupons usually reset on the 1st of the month and you never know, what you wanted may be gone, so while you are at it print anything you think you might use!!

YAY, we have been waiting for this deal to come back for a loooooong time now!!

Safeway has Arm & Hammer cat litter on their $5 Friday deals again. Available, ONLY on Friday 5/2 at that price!

Our store has recently started carrying the NEW Clump and Seal variety and it is usually included for the $5 deal!

On top of that we have several coupons to use on these, which make them only $2 a box:

We have been asking the humans for some protected outdoor space for a while now.

We would really love to go outside, sniff around and do some bird watching more often, but there are frequent coyote sightings in our hood and the humans are concerned we may end up a coyote’s lunch.

Whenever female human opens the doors, to let cooler air in though, we make sure she is VERY aware of our outdoor interests!

 

The human has looked into options making the yard safer for us, but most of them were way out of our budget.

Recently she came across this awesome DIY Catio idea on the Cat and Caboodle blog.

In a nutshell:

They are using standard wire storage cubes such as these…

 

…and some simple tools such as a mallet, pliers, a wire cutter ….

 

…plus a bunch of cable ties….

 

…to make an awesome, inexpensive and super cool catio!

To be perfectly honest: Theirs looks much cooler than ours, but we weren’t sure if we could use one of their pictures, so do make sure you check out their photos here!

Inspired by this genius idea, we had the human get us some of these this weekend…..

….and then we put the humans to work!!

Aaaand this is our PRELIMINARY result!

It still leaves MUCH to be desired and needs to be adapted and improved upon during a future weekend project, but we did get to get to do a preliminary inspection and so far really like this first draft version of it!!

Right now we are making a list of things that need to change before our final approval, but as you can see the it looks promising so far! Of course all the cable tie ends need to be cut as soon as we figure out our final configuration. We were so excited, we wanted to share this project right away although it’s far from being finished!

We’ll update the blog in a couple of weeks with our progress and the final result! Until then please excuse us while we do some extensive testing and inspecting of our new outdoor space!!
